Events FAQ
Quick answers for organisers and door staff.
How do I create event tickets? ▾
Sign up at /events/signup, then open
Create Event. Describe your event (or enter copy manually), set the date and door rules, and save.
Guests register on your public page /events/e/your-slug and receive Apple / Google Wallet tickets.
How do I use the door scanner? ▾
Set a Staff PIN on the event edit page. Staff open /events/scanner, enter the event slug and PIN (no organiser login required), then scan ticket QR codes. Use ENTRY / EXIT modes as guests arrive and leave. Guest names appear only when Require ID check is enabled.
How many active events can I create? ▾
Each organiser may have up to 6 active events at once (shown in a 2×3 grid on Event Hub). When you hit the limit, archive an event from its Stats page before creating another. Archived events do not count toward the active limit.
What are the AI generation limits? ▾
Each event starts with one AI text variant. You can generate up to 5 text versions total. Hero images also allow up to 5 AI generations; previous images stay in AI Image History so you can switch between them until you save. Saving permanently deletes unused AI image variants from our servers. All heroes (AI and uploads) are stored as optimised 1024×512 WebP. Uploading your own photo does not block AI — you will be asked to confirm before replace.
What happens to data after I archive an event? ▾
30 days after archive, hero image files are removed and replaced with a placeholder. 90 days after archive, guest names and emails on tickets are permanently redacted; registration counts remain for statistics. See also our Events Terms & Conditions.
Where do Wallet tickets show my organiser name? ▾
Use Organizer Name on Ticket on the edit page. That name appears as the issuer at the top of Apple and Google Wallet passes. Optionally add an Organizer Website URL for the back of the ticket.
What does Inside Now mean? ▾
Inside Now is the number of guests currently checked in (status CHECKED_IN). Checking a guest out moves them to AWAY and decreases the counter.
How do I close my organiser account? ▾
On the Event Hub dashboard, open the Account section and choose Close Account. This permanently deletes your organiser profile, events, and tickets. The action cannot be undone.
Can I reuse an event for multiple dates or groups? ▾
Absolutely! You can keep your event page and design as long as you need. To invite new guests, simply update the event date in the Dashboard and go to the Invitations tab to upload a new CSV list. You can run unlimited invitation campaigns for a single event — each campaign is independent, billed separately at £0.10 per contact, and logged in the Campaign History table. This makes the platform ideal for recurring events such as courses, training sessions, or weekly meetups.
What happens if my account is inactive? ▾
Accounts without an active event (at least 2 participants) for more than 180 days may be permanently deleted. You will receive email warnings 7, 3, and 1 day before removal. Create a real event with attendees to stay active.
